Freight Preparation & Packaging

Before shipping, assess your freight type, choose durable materials, and make sure packaging can withstand long-distance transport. Use the H-taping method for sealing, display shipment labels clearly, and apply correct handling labels.

Cartons and Parcels

Pack cartons and parcels securely to protect your goods and ensure smooth handling through our network. Select the right box strength, fill empty spaces with cushioning materials, and seal your cartons using the H-taping method for reliable protection.

Satchels and Envelopes

When sending important documents or small parcels, ensure your packaging prevents creasing or movement. Use cardboard inserts for stability, fold excess material neatly, and keep your shipping labels clear and flat for easy scanning.

Palletised Freight

For palletised loads, presentation and stability are key. Stack heavier cartons on the bottom, level the top surface, and secure with stretch wrap and strapping that covers both the load and pallet. Proper stacking and labelling reduce risk of damage in transit.

Containers

Whether shipping locally or globally, pack and load containers tightly to reduce movement and maintain balance. Use moisture-resistant packaging, avoid overhanging items, and secure all freight with approved wrapping or strapping for safe transport.

Specialised Freight

For liquids, tubs, or eskies, use rigid, leak-proof packaging capable of handling the weight and contents. Seal all items securely to prevent leakage and check with Team Global Express before using foam or polystyrene materials to ensure compliance and safety.
