Christmas Delivery Cut-off dates

As online shopping is at its busiest this time of year, we recommend you send your packages as early as possible. To ensure your freight is delivered before Christmas Day, please send your freight before the cut-off dates below.

For Priority and Standard Road Parcels, the cut-off date applies to metro areas only. Outside of metro areas, please send 1-2 business days prior to the cut-off date.

Standard Bulk Freight and I&S Service per normal

Please note, if your freight cannot be processed through our automated sortation equipment, we will require dispatch one business day earlier than the above dates.

Permanent Collections – Suspension Period

Priority and Standard Road Parcel permanent collections will be suspended from 28 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 inclusive, resuming on Monday 4 January 2027. Please note the following:

  • Medical and Government freight sent through our Priority network is excluded from this suspension and will continue as normal.
  • During the suspension period, collections can be booked through MyTeamGE up to 7 days in advance.
  • Collections that do proceed during this period will incur a futile pick-up fee.

If you would like your permanent collections to continue during this period, please contact your account manager by 4 December 2026.

Permanent Authority to Leave

If you have a permanent ‘Authority to Leave’ in place, please ensure your holiday trading hours and any closure dates are clearly displayed at the delivery point. This will help prevent your freight from being left unattended while your business is closed.
